What a fabulous addition Maggie has become. She is a gorgeous rose grey. It is like a kaleidoscope of the rarest shades of raspberry fawns, frosted strawberry, rose and silver greys. You really have to see her in person to appreciate all of the colors she offers. Her fleece is super dense, soft and crimpy. We look forward to her first cria in the Spring 2011. Her dam, Tipper, is an excellent birther and mother and we expect the same from Maggie.
Maggie comes form excellent genetics, her sire Setino comes from the renowned Shaquille who sold for $310,000 at the 2005 Magical Farm Auction. Shaquille is one of the most outstanding grey males today and this is your opportunity to acquire these genetics. Setino is also a grandson of Accoyo Leon - a rare dark fawn Accoyo herd sire and his dam NWA Sunshine is also a producer of champions. MFI Scimitar is one of Sunshine’s stunning offspring. His dam is a daughter of Peruvian Salvino who has been triumphant in Magical Farm's breeding program.
Maggie has inherited all of Setino's wonderful qualities, Setino's phenotype is exemplary, with outstanding conformation, perfect proportions and good bone. He has a perfect bite and a wonderful temperament. This is just the icing on the cake because his fleece characteristics are outstanding: very dense, fine, uniform and with excellent crimp.
